My childhood dog Rylee lives at my dad’s but I still consider her mine 🙂
If you work outside of the gym, what do you do?
I am currently finishing up my Bachelor’s degree and also work as a pharmacy technician for UW Health.
CrossFit movement you have worked hardest on?
Toes to bar and kipping pull ups!
When and why did you start CrossFitting?
I started in middle school because my dad is coach and they started a kids program at his gym!
Why did you initially choose Recursive as an athlete?
The location was super convenient and everyone was welcoming 🙂
Why did you decide to become a CrossFit Coach at Recursive?
I had my L1 for a few years and there was need for a new coach so I took it as my sign to start coaching.
What is your favorite thing about Recursive?
The community!
What is your favorite Recursive memory?
I love the CrossFit Open at Recursive, the friendly competition, the community coming together, and everyone pushing themselves to try things they may not in a regular class!
What is one of your proudest Recursive Coaching moments?
It’s difficult to choose, but recently when there was extra time in class to work on muscle ups and a simple cue lead to Dave getting his first ring muscle up! I can’t take all the credit, but it was so exciting.
How has Recursive changed your life?
Recursive has introduced me to so many amazing people and allowed me to grow as a coach. I’ve wanted to coach CrossFit since I started and always took my dad’s classes. I’m so grateful for all the members who have been in my classes and helped me on that journey!
What is something else fun you’d like to share about yourself?
I am graduating college this summer and applying to pharmacy school!
