Melissa found CrossFit in 2010, after spending years working with personal trainers and being in group exercise classes. Her first workout had kettlebells and box jumps, neither of which had she done before. It was love at first touch and she signed up right after class.

Melissa has moved often for work, and CrossFit was the only constant that she had in these new places. Not only did CrossFit prepare her for the unknown during workouts, it gave her the courage to make these moves.

After all these years, she decided to add the CFL-1 to her experience. Her goal is to give back all the support and encouragement that she has been given on this journey.
