If you work outside of the gym, what do you do?
I’m a preschool teacher! Did you participate in high school or college sports (or after college)? This is a huge secret, but I used to row in college.
When and why did you start CrossFitting?
A former teammate of mine has been CrossFit-ting and coaching for the past eleven years – she’s my inspiration! Why did you initially choose Recursive as an athlete? In the midst of a pandemic I was grateful to find a space where I could workout that felt very safe, was close to home, and provided a sense of community.
Why did you decide to become a CrossFit Coach at Recursive?
After a year of doing CrossFit I was eager to deepen my own knowledge of the sport and the movements, which encouraged me to take the L1. As a teacher, a yoga instructor, a long-time rowing coach…stepping into that role at Recursive felt inevitable, in some ways. I’m honored and humbled for the challenge of getting to coach my fellow members at Recursive! What is your favorite thing about Recursive? The people, of course!
What is your favorite Recursive memory?
Every single time someone PRs or hits a movement for the first time, and all of the other members and the coach get at LEAST as excited as that athlete.

How has Recursive changed your life?
