John has recently joined Recursive through our 6 Week Intro to Fitness and Nutrition Program! (And he is long time member Justin Krause’s brother!) We are so excited to have him at Recursive. You’ll see him working hard in classes – be sure to introduce yourself and get to know him better.

What was the biggest struggle you had before joining Recursive?
The aging thing – i turned 50 last year. I’ve always been a pretty active person but am starting to notice some changes with my body that i can only chalk up to getting old.

What made you choose Recursive for your fitness needs/goals?
The CrossFit movement fascinates me and my brother was a member and he talked positively about it.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned at the gym?
Consistency is the key.

What are you most proud of (so far)?
That i’m here!

What’s your favorite gym memory?
Still working on forming some.

What do you hope to accomplish next?
To prove that age is a state if mind and i still feel like i’m in my 20’s (ok, maybe 30’s).
